I was happy to discover that Blu-Ray sharing in FCPX has a loop button option. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to produce anything more than that--a looping button in the menu. The button does nothing, is disabled, and the Blu-Ray doesn't loop. Am I missing another step in the process?
This is a gallery video in a location not near me, so we're relying on gallery staff to start it. What I REALLY want is to produce a Blu-Ray that auto-starts upon turning on the player, and loops. Pretty sure I can do this with Roxio Toast, but my client may not want to pay for that software, nor the additional hours. I also made progress with installing a Mac Mini and using Login Options+VLC+Energy Saver Schedule to auto-play the file, but it's not reliable (freezes and displays strange frames) . Plus, again, my client can't buy a computer for that purpose.
