I'm shooting a video for a local animal shelter and will be using the Gopro Hero 4 Black. It'll be a montage video and I want to combine regular speed with slomo shots. Ideally I'd be mixing 4K 24fps footage for normal speed with 1080 p 120fps footage for the slow motion shots. I'd like to have that "film" look with the 24p.
One question I have is if I shot 60p with the intention of converting it to 24p, would it look the same as footage shot natively in 24p? And generally is shooting 24p if I intend on mixing it with other frame rates a bad idea? Should I stick with mixing 30p, 60p and 120p? Obviously I'd like to make the right decision before I head down a bad road, but I'd like to work with 24p footage if possible.
