FCPX and Keyflow Pro Workflow for Media Imported

Hey guys,

anybody know what is up with the "Run Workflow for Media Imported from Final Cut Pro X" feature in Workflow Pro.

I understand the Watch Folder will copy the media or files form the folder into the Keyflow Pro.
But what and how does the Final Cut Pro X option work?

Thanks

If you assign a workflow to a project, it will do things to the media that comes in. For example, if you have a file imported from a watch folder with the name 'xyz' in it, you can build a rule that tags any file that file something like 'rough cuts' or 'client media' or whatever.

We have completely overhauled our system to work with Keyflow and I'm a little late in getting that finished to show it off.

Thomas, Did you watch the video tutorials at the KeyFlow Pro site? You might find your answers there. Hint: Open them using Youtube and slow them down as the information is coming at you pretty fast.

When FCPX exports a file to Keyflow, you choose the project you want the media to go to, then your workflow (which is already pre-assigned to the project in KFP) can follow some simple steps like tag the file xyz if the file contains that in it's name, or copy a version to folder x somewhere on the finder, etc.

There are not an insane amount of options yet but they are getting better.
