Detach 2 Audio sources from multi clip
on Nov 6, 2015 at 6:00:30 pm

HI,

As you can see from the picture below, I am working with a multi clip. This multi clip has 3 seperate audio tracks. (2 are attached to video clips and 1 is an H4N clip)

How can I detach the 2 audio sources so they are 2 seperate files instead of the one you see in the picture. (1 from a video clip and the other the H4N)? I have one of them detached, but I want to detach the other one as well?

Thanks in advance

jump into the multicam clip and copy the tracks you want- then paste them back into the project timeline.

Can also open up the audio from first clip and drag out the audio under all the others as an L cut.

Or copy paste and select a different audio angle. Generally speaking I recommend against detaching audio if you can at all help it as there is no reattach audio nor sync offset indicators as FCP 7 had.
