Seeing Audio Waveforms in the viewer?

Hi,

Is there a way to see a songs waveforms in the viewer? I can see them in FCP 7 so I know where to put my In point before I put it on the timeline. Can I do this in FCP X?

Thanks

You can see the waveform in the clip browser if that's what you mean .Click on the clip appearance button (lower right of the browser pane) and tick the 'show waveforms' checkbox.

Also- Open in Timeline will give you even more resolution.
