Facebook Audio Sync Issues with master Files via Safari and iOS (only)

I have multiple client pages to upload video to (sometimes the same video)... so I do not use the internal Facebook function in FCPX

I create a Master File and upload through Safari to Facebook (and have tried Chrome as well)

It seems that when I playback through an iOS device or iMac/Macbook with Safari installed - the audio and visuals are out of sync... but strangely - devices or computers enabled with Android, Google Chrome, Windows etc are absolutely fine

anybody else experiencing this?

Files uploaded have been .mov and .mp4 (AAC Audio) with H.264 compression

Hi Gareth,
I am having exactly the same problem. Different machines/OSes. Audio in Safari is always ahead. Not so in Chrome or Firefox. Though, just on Facebook nowhere else.
Weird issue. Any news from your side?
Cheers.

Hi Rene,

I decided to export a master file from FCPX for apple devices (just for uploading to Facebook) and that seems to have solved it or at least made it better than it was...

It is still really annoying mind... as it means that my workflow needs multiple copies - buy hey ho, it is better than being trolled by somebody who thought that my editing skills were bad LOL

Hi there,
I've experienced the same issues, very noticeable lag in FB Safari, FB iOS App & Safari.
And where are not alone.

As it seems to be an Apple related issue, we should post feedback on Apple regarding this.
