No more problems making source timecode burns. CoreMelt is the best! Here's the link.

So, I really want this to work, but be careful as I find it inaccurate at least on 23.976 media.

I know the Coremelt folks are looking in to it.

Thanks for the heads up, Jeremy. All I did was apply the effect to a clip and see timecode. I didn't check to see if the t/c was accurate.

I found the same. And if you use it to display rec time code burn in, it gets more and more off the longer the program is. It's more accurate with drop frame. But often 1 frame off with DF. My stuff is 29.97p I tested with.

Perhaps in their calculations they used 23.98 rather than 23.976 which would cause drift.

[John Fishback] " I didn't check to see if the t/c was accurate."

I'd check your footage and see.

If it isn't, write support _at_ coremelt dot com and tell them about it. They might ask to send over a piece of media for testing.

Crap I didnt see this post.

Ive been using it well actually I told a director/editor to download and use it on his RED project and send the TC to VFX.
None of the numbers jived and also had to issues with Absolute blah blah.
Im inexperienced when it comes to TC and only know from what REDCineX Pro spits at me.
