Is there a way to rename a favorite and have that rename appear in the timeline?

Is there a way to rename a favorite and have that rename appear in the timeline?

I don't think this is possible but I just want to double check....if I favorite a section of a clip and I rename the favorited section in the browser, when i put it in the timeline, it still has the clip name. Is there a way for the section in the clip to be named what I re-named the bit I favorited?

Nope. Although I think that'd be a good improvement. You should write up as feedback to Apple. They definitely do look at the feedback they get.

You can leave feedback by clicking on the Final Cut Pro menu and choosing Provide Final Cut Feedback.
