Copy from one Project and paste into a secondary storyline of another

Ok, there has got to be a "vulcan grip" key combo to do this? As stated in thread title, I want to take a series of still images from one project timeline and paste into a secondary storyline of another. Ideas? Thanks in advance and apologies if this is really simple. Been a long couple of days....

Cmd - Option - Up in the still image timeline to move them out of the primary into a secondary. Select the secondary timeline. Hit Command-C to copy, then paste into your main timeline. Cmd - Opt - Down in the still image timeline to move the clips back into the primary.

Select the still images. "Option G" to make them a compound clip. Go to the second sequence. Choose the compound clip in the event browser and use "q" to make an attached compound clip. "Command G" makes it a secondary storyline and then "Shift Command G" to break apart the compound clip. Takes longer to type out than to do it.

Two great suggestions. I should have totally thought of the Compound Clip thing! Thanks all.

It never really occurred to me to use compound clips as a way to move large chunks of content around like this until I had been using FCP X for a while. That's one of those things that's difficult to teach or put into a manual unless you are doing it all the time. Glad to help!

You can Cmd - C to copy and then Alt - V to paste as connected clips. But it does't combine them into secondary, only connects.

W will insert into selected secondary at the position of the skimmer (if active) or the playhead
