Compressor 4.1/FXPX. Custom setting: "Prepare for HTTP Live Streaming", Low, High, Mid

We are thinking of using, HTTP Live Streaming instead a 950x540 .m4v podcast file for iPhone, ipad devices.
When I look in Settings in Compressor, "Prepare for HTTP Live Streaming": High, Low.

I look around on an found these specifications:
5 video bit rates
Gear 1 - 416x234 @ 265 kbps
Gear 2 - 640x360 @ 580 kbps
Gear 3 - 960x540 @ 910 kbps
Gear 4 - 1280x720 @ 1 Mbps
Gear 5 - 1920x1080 @ 2 Mbps

These, @ x Mbps, is it speeds on the connection.

CUSTOM SETTING
I want to do a custom with following frame Sizes.
Low - 640x360
Mid - 960x540
High - 1920x1080 (Air play with Apple TV)

But how do I prepare, "Prepare for HTTP Live Streaming", for that.
Does it do it automatically when I chose in compressor:
Action> When done: "Prepare for HTTP Live Streaming".

Or does it depend on frame size, or video bit rate, or key words as High, Low, Mid
