How to make text clips larger in the timeline?

I can make video and audio clips larger in "Clip appearance" settings. What about text clips? Selecting the tiny text clips is killin my RSI...

Thanks in advance!

You can't- they are always the same size.

It would be! But I think you're looking for this little button right here in the roles area of the timeline inspector. It's on by default because not many people see the point in the titles being big. But they were ready for you!

And something I just realized playing with that feature.... when a clip is in a secondary or the primary it can't be minimized in height by this button. Assumingly because you would have different clips of different heights in the same storyline. But it still turns on/off the thumbnails and the waveforms. Giving you quite a bit of control over what thumbs and waves the interface has to draw. For example you might be editing music and have no need to see the waveforms of dialog and effects displayed. Just turn on the little button next to the dialog and effects roles and you'd be set.

Always something new. But I'm not a big user of the timeline index or roles. So perhaps it's something everyone else knew already.

though blown up I can see that it's a scrolling text.

He just wants the clips larger so it's easier to click on. There aren't any thumbs for titles. Though I don't know why not.

You could always select it in the Timeline Index...
