Add notes to a range selection and not the entire clip?

There must be a way but I can't for the life of me figure it out.

create a range, mark it as a keyword collection. twirl open clip and you can write individual notes to each keyword collection.

Additionally, you can do the same thing by selecting the range and hitting F to favorite it. Then pull down the clip's enclosure triangle, etc.. That said, I prefer adding notes to keyword ranges over favorites.

Thanks guys for the suggestions. I'm still not able to fill in the notes field. I've tried clicking on it with every key combination I can think of.

Also - is there anything quicker than this? I'm looking for a solution for logging interviews. I might have 10 or 20 hours of material to log, and all that mousing and keystrokes really add up.

Check out this tutorial I posted recently about my methods for logging interviews. It might be of some help.






I don't mention this in the video, but some people prefer to log interview clips in the timeline with markers for detailed transcriptions or notes. For what I've been doing, I prefer my system of using answer keywords + notes.
