Save RAM with keyboard shortcuts!

Can't believe I just realized this:

You can set the keyboard properties in the key command editor. Here's what I changed:

Customize keyboard shortcuts:

Clip Appearance: Clip Labels Only - option-command-w (ram saving mode - no thumbs or waveforms, really speeds it up)

Clip Appearance: Waveform and Filmstrips - optionss-fit-w (bring back the thumbnails and the waveforms)

Great way to boost performance quickly. Hope this helps someone!

I don't think this was possible with older versions, or I was looking for the wrong command...
Thanks for the info!

This since 10.0.9 i believe, with alt-ctrl 1 to 6 to switch Timeline views.

I still wish there was a way to expand/reduce clip heights via shortcut too...

I hope they get that fixed soon.

Control Option up and down arrow will cycle through the views. No key commands for clip height in the timeline however. I have F1 and F2 mapped to Clip Labels Only and Clip Waveforms Only. F3 is mapped to Large Filmstrip. I find those three the most handy.

Didn't realize how much I screwed up this post:

Search clip appearance in the keyboard command editor.

Set Clip Labels Only (I used command-option-w) (ram saving)

Waveforms and Filmstrips (I used command-option-f) (back to normal
