FXCP doesn't recognize my video format
on Sep 26, 2013 at 6:58:27 am

I'm working with video clips that are 1440x1080, 59.94 fps on FCPX.

My project settings are 1440x1080 29.97i, Stereo, 48kHz, ProRes 422 (HQ)

But when I load video files on the timeline it show the red bar on top of the timeline and requires rendering. Not sure what's not compatible about my video files.

The videos were shot on a samsung camcorder, in mp4 format, then I converted them on MPEG Streamclip compression format Apple HDV 1080i60. Maybe something went wrong there.

Just to add, at first I selected "set based on first video clip" then when I tried to load files FCP says it doesn't recognize the video properties. Then it suggests using 1080p HD 1440x1080 59.94p, but in which the red bar appears as well.

I really appreciate your advice. If you need more information, please let me know.
