Importing keyframe info from final cut xml
on Jan 31, 2012 at 10:02:25 am

Hello All,
I am currently finishing an edit on a feature length project shot on red. The directors have resized many shots, added slow motion, etc.
Will an xml file from final cut give all this information to the color grader?
If the xml file does not contain this info how would I pass it to the scratch?
Many thanks

Nathan

Scratch is very tolerant with XMLs - according to the manual, supported effects are these:
Scaling, Offset, Vari-Speed, Dissolves and Flip/Flops.
SCRATCH does include all the inputs of non-supported effects on an Assemble and it will display an annotation with the name of the missing effect.

Everything unsupported / not working would have to be eyematched in my opinion....
