Conform DPX secuences and XML
on Jan 18, 2012 at 5:13:45 pm

Hello!

I'm not a scratch user, but I have to do a conform for a feature film. It was shooted and edited on XDCAM (Final Cut) I was watching some tutorials, and it looks simple conform with XML and quicktimes. But I'm not sure if it work if I ingest a dpx secuence of the entire reel, the scratch will recognize the cuts?
Anyone could help to me a little?

Thanks a lot!!!

Julian

hi,

if i get you right, then you get a DPX sequence of the final master and you want to use the xml to insert the edit points into this continuous sequence.
in Scratch 6.1 (just released) you get an option "reverse assemble", which does exactly that -
scratch also features a scene detection, which you could use ...
