Conforming R3D files without original path
on Apr 7, 2014 at 6:54:20 pm

I just finished editing a short film and I created an EDL to work the coloring on Scratch. The problem is the production team gave me the data outside the original directory, so I have all the .RDM folders in a folder called RAW. Naturally, Scratch doesn't recognize the EDL and I can't reconnect the media even though I edited with the RED proxy files.
What can I do to reconnect the EDL to the new directory?

Hi Martin,
First would be to load all the media from the RAW directory.
Then load the EDL and it should match.
If you already graded proxies, then do a Ctrl+A on the proxies construct, "copy selection", navigate to the RAW construct and use "Paste Grade" from the Construct menu.

Let us know.
Cheers

Daniel
