I need to know how many GPU require for F65 4k SQ 16bit debayer real time work flow in Scratch finish (real time 24P F65)

when debayer F65 4K SQ 16bit Raw
Is it CPU or GPU base or Both?
Which GPU is Best to work with Scratch Finish 7 on PC 64bit?

what is takes viewing 2k with LM-2461W & AJA Kona 3G and processing realtime at full res DPX files?

Is their any System Spec to Build system for 4K 16bit files ?

Yes I do have Fiber Raid 24TB Read 2200 Mbps Write 1800 mbps using 2k 10bit file AJA system utility at 16GB file size

so don't even go there :)

Answer is quite simple:
Scratch only needs one GPU - multi-GPU is not needed and not supported.
Best card currently is a Quadro 6000.
As far as I know, the Sony SDK uses OpenCL for debayering on Win7 x64.
So, it looks like it's all done on the GPU ;-) .

Are you sure about multi gpu not supported?
Does it need dedicated quadro 6000 gpu or it can be share as graphic cad plus gpu

If you have 2 quadro 6000 gpu how will you know which on is being used?
Is their any spec pdf i can learn more?

What is OPEN CL has to do with gpu?

Yep, sure about multi-gpu.
You only have to install one GPU - that's the good thing about Scratch - it get's more out of your hardware than others ;-) .
If you have installed two cards, it will take whichever is initialized first, I would guess - but I'm no developer.
F65 is usually debayered on GPU, as long as OpenCL is supported on GPU by OS / Card - which should be the case with Win7 x64 and Quadro 6000^^.

Hi Sanjiv,

Only 1 GPU is supported and 6000 is perfect for F65.
Sony F65 debayer method is explained on the Assimilate support site as well as the Drivers Chart page shows you the recommended drivers.
Scratch is fully GPU based, that's why it uses the GPU to debayer the F65 here. You can force the debayer to be done by the CPU by activating a variable in the sconfig file, but this would make sense here.
Most common bottleneck with F65 is the disk access. Don't rely on Aja utility. Run a Profile from within Scratch.

How any what does it do?
What is the current recommended graphics driver for quadro 5000 or 6000?
How do you know gpu is being use for f65 raw sq files ?

Sanjiv,

I think most of your questions have been replied in the previous post, except Profile.

Profile performs a series of benchmarks test to determine the capabilities of the system you are running SCRATCH on and is located in Player/Settings.
Details of the benchmarks and their meaning is available on the support site, just like recommended drivers page and sconfig variables.
