i'm starting out as a DIT (by accident more than anything fyi..), have a couple of jobs under my belt and am wanting to expand my knowledge. I've read a fair bit about scratch and am trying it out - practicing how to do basic dailies (QCing, LUTs, and frame-rate conversions). There seems to be quite a lot of guidance/tutorials on how to get up and running on it using Red footage, however i'm currently on a job that is shooting on Alexa and am stuck for a few basics.
first is how to locate metadata for each clip. i want to be able to find clips shoot in non-standard frame-rates (8fps, 12fps, etc) and at the moment am using an external app (ClipMetaView) to locate the clips and then do processing in Scratch. can't see that metadata in the media browser however i know it's within the file.
sorry for such a basic question but support scratch seems rather scant.
