Quick pluraleyes V2 and Media Composer question.
on Jan 10, 2013 at 6:48:16 pm

Hey guys, im wondering once i import a .aaf from pluraleyes and all my clips are in sync on one timeline, how do i then get those clips into a bin for organizing and to later edit?

in FCP 7 i would just make sure those clips are "linked" and dragthem to a bin. Not new to Media Composer per say but new to plural eyes/mc combo. I also know theres pluraleyes 3.1 where you can just export mfx files from the get go, but im stuck on v2 because of snow leopard.

Also im assuming its better to do the sync on transcodes instead of AMA material but if im doing an offline/offline workflow, whats the best wy to approach this. Sync the DNX 36 clips. Edit with them, but what happens when i go back to the AMA clips to online? Or should i do it with AMA, and then transcode the results to DNX 36 once i have them in a bin and organized. Kinda confusing. The offline/online aspect is really important to my workflow.

thanks in advance.
