How to avoid Drift Correction with dual system?
on Aug 7, 2016 at 7:16:03 pm

Hello,
I shoot videos on Nikon D5100 (settings: 24 FPS - 48 KHz) and audio on Zoom H1 (settings: 48 KHz / 16 Bit) which is conneted to laptop by USB and audio is recorded in Adobe Audition CS6. Videos which I shoot is about 10-20 minutes longs and when I try to sync them by PluralEyes 3.5, it makes a drift correction, after which audio gets undesirable pics (its a real problem).
If I turn off the "audio drift correction" and make a sync, by the end of the video clips the audio is unsynced, its obvious.
So I try to avoid need in drift correction and want to get audio which wont be needed to make drift correction, but I can't get a result.
Tell me what I'm doing wrong.
