I recently got Pluraleyes to sync up audio from a separate recorder to video with its own audio track. Following instructions to use Pluraleyes with Media Composer. I created a sequence, exported aafs to Pluraleyes, and successfully synced in Pluraleyes. It all played in sync within Pluraleyes.
But when I do the final step, and export the aafs of the sequence back to Avid I get a sequence in Avid labeled "synced" that is no longer in sync. I reported the problem to Red Giant 5 days ago along with the session log. They say they are still studying it and will get back to me. Meanwhile painfully laborious manual syncing is going on while we await an answer to what seems like a simple problem.
This is on MC 8.4 on Mac 10.10.4. I know MC is not yet authorized for 10.10.4, but the only way for me to downgrade to 10.10.3 is an elaborate and scary process that I'd like to avoid. It seems unlikely that this is the cause of the problem, but if nothing else works I will take that step.
