Syncing individual clips at once
on Jul 16, 2015 at 9:26:41 pm

Hello,

I can't find anything useful or exactly what I'm looking for on the web so I'll ask myself.

I'm looking to sync multiple clips of video and audio together, but I want them to as individual clips like is done on a short film/feature film(Say 7 takes of the same slate), not an interview or anything else that can just be thrown down on one timeline. I want each clip to be independent of its self. Pluraleyes does a fine job if you have some multi-cam event or interview, but does it have an option to do what I asked for just there? ^

Usually I would sync with in and/or out points and a clapperboard in FCP 7 or use the automatic sync in FCPX, or do it by eye and ear when no clapper was present but that takes ages and is quite tedious with a upwards of a hundred shots or so. Does anyone know or could suggest a relatively automatic way of doing this more quickly in Pluraleyes or other?

I hope my question is clear enough.

Kind regards,
Alfie.
