It's close to Mocha Pro's remove module, which is a killer function. I use Mocha a lot for all kinds of things, and removing is one of them.

I'm interested in applying this kind of thing to keying situations to eliminate hand roto and hanging green screens out on locations.

[Mark Suszko] "I'm interested in applying this kind of thing to keying situations to eliminate hand roto and hanging green screens out on locations."

Cloak looks cool, it will be a versatile tool, I'm sure.

But I can't stress enough how much Mocha has helped change the way I think about projects, and therefore, expands our capabilities and offerings. It has a been a tremendous tool for me and allows us to take on more challenges in production. I really love it.

The nice thing is that it can plug in to almost any compositing software that you use, Ae included, or it can be used as a standalone tool, so whatever works best for your setup. There is a learning curve, but Mocha has tons and tons of videos that allow you to observe how the tool is used, even if it's not for the exact situation you need to tackle. It has been time that has been well spent for me as I use Mocha a LOT. I just wished it plugged right in to FCPX. ☺

Here's a sample of a remove I did using Mocha a long time ago.
