LIGHTWORKS 14.0: A REINVENTED NLE
https://www.provideocoalition.com/lightworks-14-0-reinvented-nle/

Interesting to compare Free and Pro.

While there's a bunch of differentiators it looks like free is limited to 720 H.264 (my guess) given YouTube/Vimeo export and no DNxHD option.

Avid has to be thinking about how to may a Free version that's useful.

Looks like they may not have broken the dependency on Quicktime 7 yet

[Paul Golden] "Welcome back to 2003!"

Which may still be ahead of Avid 😉

If there are any Lightworks editors here who have been hankering for a USB Edit Control Console, there is one available on eBay right now. They're few and far between, so it's newsworthy when one appears.
