If you haven't tried this, I urge you to do so. I've been using the beta version for a few months now and I wouldn't be without it. (Disclaimer: I have no reason to support this other than that I like it a lot!)

Kyno is an easy-to-use media management, screening, logging, organisation and transcoding toolset for anyone working with video content and still imagery. It works with a wide variety of industry-standard formats and integrates seamlessly with Premiere Pro® and Final Cut Pro®.

I'll be interested if the Windows version can create ProRes files. Also it will need to deal with raw formats both video and stills before it has use for me. Otherwise it looks like a good tool kit.
