Avid CEO directly addresses FCP User Concerns

Gary Greenfield, CEO of Avid, has written a blog on Avid's site addressing Avid's commitment to professionals. He also has extended Avid's crossgrade offer for FCP users until September. In addition, he and Kirk Arnold, Avid's COO, will be in Los Angeles on the 13th of July to meet with editors and directly discuss their needs and Avid's future direction.

I have a system, it has stuff in it, and stuff hooked to it. I have a camera, it can record stuff. I read the manuals, and know how to use this stuff and lots of other stuff too.
You should be suitably impressed...

It's kind of like shooting fish in a barrel for Adobe and AVID right now. But AVID should line up their Dennis Radeke to come and chat on these forums ...
