Connected clip features needed

1. Tidy-up command. Especially for connected audio clips. Automatically snugs clips up into available empty space under the primary storyline.

2. Command to automatically move connection point of a connected clip from the start frame to the middle of primary storyline clip. Should be selectable for all clips or selected clips.

3. Preference setting or command to add a connected clip to the highest level of clips. Sometimes a connected clip goes in the middle or underneath of other clips when it should be on top.

4. Keystroke to move a connected clip up or down by one clip (swap underneath or above) or all clips.

5. Sync-locking relationship or sync offset indicators between primary storyline clip and its connected clip(s).

5. sync-locking relationship...

How is that different than a compound clip?

If the connected clip is a storyline, it'd be nice to be able to select the storyline shelf and do things to all the clips within it, like add effects, remove effects, adjust Roles, edit, etc.

There also needs to be a way to be able to select connecteds with the keyboard, and better keyboard controls to edit/target/ connecteds with the keyboard or modifiers.

Because you don't necessarily want to use compound clips. They often don't work when you translate to other software. If you have an entire long form timeline with connected audio clips, you don't want to go through each combination one at a time and create compounds for each.

The problem is that it's incredibly easy to have sync get shifted via trimming and you'll never know it unless you carefully check each time.
