The stories we no longer need to miss because Hollywood misses them

Somebody posted a link to this on Reddit calling it an "awesome" video. On review, I agree.

I think in the future of the craft of video storytelling is going to be just fine.

Enjoy.

As someone who has crashed a couple motorcycles, all that mother taunting helmetless footage he manipulated her with was predatory.

That said, a Honda 175 in that condition, she got it for a steal. I'd pay $2200!

Darren,

You'd have to outbid me. I rode a CL175 (blue, not red) my first and second year of college. The second time I watched this, I had an oddly powerful urge to go looking for that missing left front amber turn signal lens...

Odd what sticks with us throughout our lives. ; )

That's interesting Bill, I've known you for what 20 or so years and never heard that story. I myself had a Kawasaki 900 the first few years of college...

BTW, awesome find on the video... watched it several times...

Fun piece. Good use of props (sliding open workbench drawers, sliding the magnifying glass over the tiny spools of thread, coffee cups, etc.,) and camera angles to help keep the piece visually interesting.

Great story. I will be showing this to students in the fall as a great story, simply (but wonderfully) done with gear that is readily available. Great stuff, thanks for posting.

Wonderful! Reminded me of my grandfathers. Still wish I had my Honda Superhawk and my helmet covered with road scratches!

That was lovely. It would've been perfect if the mother had become a born again biker chick at the end, but you can't have it all ;-)
