lol... seems the "ridiculous demo" meme has been picked up. :-) And this one is really ridiculous. Impressive, but ridiculous. :-)

I thought that this would take a quad GPU, quad snazzle* core, 100 pound behemoth to accomplish?

What the hell are we going to sell to clients now?????????!?!?!?!?!?!$%^&*

I have an idea, how about subscription plans.

*a snazzle core is a beefed up sizzle core

ah this is mad.

X has real, manifest issues with project complexity. nevermind the audio crazy.
the idea that a thousand clip sequence can run for 2 seconds.. what is that actually supposed to mean to anyone?

[Aindreas Gallagher] "the idea that a thousand clip sequence can run for 2 seconds.. what is that actually supposed to mean to anyone?"

Nothing. same as any of the pointless demos of various NLE's being wonderful and/or sucking. ;-)

"what is that actually supposed to mean to anyone?"

Child,

We watch you.

We hope for you.

We ache for the potential of what you might become.

Fully aware that becoming is conceived within an iron cage of precursors

Like time. And frustration. And knowing.

But we still dream of you.

And hope.

And sit with inconsolable breathless anticipation.

We glance down now and then - only to see ourselves bathed in the ephemeral aura of our new gifts.

And remember why we are here.

Still.

We rush ahead.

We fall behind.

We bitch and moan and even wail at times.

Then break free for momentary bliss.

Swaddled in the feeling that where we are now - is not where we used to be - nor where we are likely to be - tomorrow.

And so we revel in the sweet enveloping calm of expanding joy.

Either that or you just fu**ing move on to fu**ing Premier and be done with it.

Bill, I'm holding you personally responsible for the large amount of coffee I just spat all over my keyboard :)

BTW Aindreas can't move to Premiere, he has a fundamental disagreement with the business model
