small request for the next Final Cut Pro X update

On some projects I use very long titles for project files. I don't want to get into the reasons why I'm using long titles It is just a requirement of a specific client.

If find it difficult to make changes to the wording after the fact. If want to change a word in the middle it is difficult to get that specific word.

Then you should submit a feature request to Apple.

Check out the free title generator "Manifesto". It has a full featured text editor built in. http://fxfactory.com/info/manifesto/

I am assuming he means the actual name of the projects, not visual titles.

Hi Tony,

I know exactly what you are talking about and the only way to revise a long title is to get your curser bar in there and navigate forwards or backwards with the arrow keys. It's just another one of those irritating little things that you learn to work around.

As Gary Huff says It's something to let Apple know about through the feedback facility in the menu.

keyboard shortcut - Opt+arrow L and R will move you word by word through any text in the OS. This might help navigate it. CMD+L and R moves you to the front or end of the entire line as well.
