Does it Jeremy? The news article only mentioned Windows 7 & 8. Having output via Decklink etc makes it interesting to me. I wonder if that includes 9 pin tape control?

[Michael Gissing] "Does it Jeremy?"

Yes, but only in my dreams.

...our users can still 'Edit Anything.'

Except the most popular 10bit codec... ProRes, a problem not so easy to fix.

Popular but not the best... Cineform still FAR better than either Pro Res or DNxHD.

Just played a bit with Edius 7 trial - WOW! Silky smooth playback and scrubbing like it's hardware driven. Not sure how I feel about it overall but it looks and feels very pro and very capable.

Adobe missed out in a big way by not buying Cineform

The only thing I didn't like in Edius 6 - before I had to switch to PPro for employment reasons - was the character generator. Has that come out of the dark ages yet?

Yeah that ship has sailed, maybe GoPro will buy Adobe lol. I know the Cineform guys really enjoy being part of the GoPro family though, seems like a great company to work for.

That would be nice! No more avoiding Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop because of the dark storm cloud -- subscription only model.

Was really looking for to After Effects and Premiere Pro CS7 but not anymore. I would love to see Resolve become an alternative and based on the direction it is taking it could be.
