"gigantic graphics power and file transfers in a zip"

Give me break!
I can write better advertising copy than that, and I'm a video editor.

I have real doubts that the people at the WWDC will see that image on a Keynote page tomorrow.
But then again........

I guess "lorem ipsum" would even be better copy than that.

I kind of don't care what it looks like if it meets my needs for - say, five years - even four years - I'll buy it. But based on what I've been seeing out of this company for since about 2008 I would not be surprised if it did not even meet my needs from two years ago.

I don't know, but that thing looks like it would work for me. If it is real, most likely it will not be user serviceable/upgradeable, but like was said in the recent accidental tech podcast, "I don't care, as long as it blows away the performance of all other macs" (or something to that effect). If it runs FCPX like no other with blazing fast exports and unreal real-time performance... Color me an early adopter. I'm in.

The Cube. Revisited.

They've already done the Cube, so how different can this be, tech advances aside?

With what is shown there, you just might as well say "Yeah...a toaster...I could work with that..."

Toasters make wonderful strudels and pop tarts as well as bagels, bialys, and ... toast.

If we need some reheated breakfast baked goods, we're covered.

Thunderbolt still isn't fast enough for strudel. All layered pastries are PCI-only until at least thunderbolt 3.

And thunderbolt 6 for Bialys... Or so I'd assume based on what I've heard of them

Good thinking, Jeremy. I knew I needed an additional tool in my arsenal of creative hardware...the toaster! Oh...wait...they've already done it with the Video Toaster...

Given how both you and every Mac rumor site were 100% wrong on this subject last summer, I would think you would hesitate in posting this gibberish again this year. Apparently not.

The real original rumour last year was Jim Dalrymple of the Loop. When asked if the MacPro was going away he said "No." The rest of it was all spin and hype machine. This year we know directly from apple that a new machine is coming. Maybe it won't be tomorrow, but maybe it will. And definitely within the next 4-6 months.

In my opinion it's a fake to see how many sites will pick up the non-existent story. Sorry but the fonts are wrong, the shading is wrong, the relationship of the typefaces is wrong so without reading the copy, it just isn't real. Now that doesn't mean the new MacPro won't look like that to some degree but that is not any web page Apple marketing would use.

It should be interesting in the few hours before the keynote when sometimes the accurate images are leaked. Have a good sleep, people. I hoe all your dreams come true.

Check the thread topics, but "New Mac Pro of Not: Debate" sounds like a good topic to start. I'll bring out the best in Herb, Walter, Chris, so many famous names! Go for it.

The Apple store is already down. Old or new, no one can buy a Mac Pro from Apple right now.

Is it just me, or is the store update message askew? Oddly, it seems to be slightly off square.

All right; I just held a piece of paper up to the screen and marked it with a pen. The whole rounded square is definitely tilting down to the left. I'M NOT CRAZY!!!!
