A Orange Render Bar in FCP X is still there after renders

I have two places in my project where there is an orange render bar that never goes away. I've tried manually rendering all but to no avail. One is a simple clip. Another includes some voice over. I changed the voiceover from wave to air but the bar is still there. (I also have to export to a master file and then compress that master file, since I get a quicktime error -50 when I sent it directly to compressor). Things were going so smoothly the last month and then poof!

It's a bug. I've had the same with a retimed clip. The export of a master file is fine, except that I've also had persistent problems with random corrupted frames on render and export on that project. That was with 10.0.6. I have not yet had a chance to re-test it with 10.0.7. There are some bug-fixes in there that might help you, too, if you haven't already updated.

Thanks. This is all in 10.0.7 unfortunately. (It didn't show up until then.)

I just did the update to 10.0.7 on the machine with the project that gave me all the render grief. The issue with corrupted frames appears to be gone (crossing my fingers), but the section that won't render (like your issue) is still the same. In my case, it's a clip that's been retimed. Starts fast and goes to a hold to freeze the action. Export is fine, but in-timeline render doesn't work on that one clip.

Mine is a clip that was retimed, too, so perhaps the problems lies there.
