I think Ron should order some extra bandwidth, especially if we get the FCPX update this week as well.

Everyone's giving their fingers a rest before the torrential downpour of posing that will be released on Monday.

Please, we had the bandwidth to withstand both NAB 2011 and in June, Apple dropping the X-bomb. We're gonna be fine.

(You realize that we're still TEN DAYS away from the first anniversary of FCPX? Amazing.)

I'm counting on at least a couple of hundred of you posting your reactions here in real time, and then commenting on each other's posts. Baby needs a new pair of shoes.

Hey kids - You realise that we are ELEVEN days away from my 60th anniversary of my birth?

So who gets to hear the big mac news first - us here in the UK?

Like the Super Bowl, I think you should raise your ad rates like crazy for the day.

Kinda late this time, but I think the NEXT time that Apple spends six months EOLing product after product aimed at pros, followed by a year of virtually non-stop turmoil in the middle of a 2 year gap between high-end CPU updates -- dude, we're all over it.

As much as i hope for a new Mac Pro.
As most of the keynotes, its gonna be a disappointment.
Its gonna be a ios keynote.
Thats all there is.

I don't imagine the hardware is going to take up a lot of the keynote time, but who cares, as long as we get some form of product announcements?

Besides the iOS6 announcement could be very interesting, especially if they release a devkit for the Apple TV.

I might need to disable email responses for whatever threads I post on tomorrow. I feel like they just won't stop and quite frankly, I'm a little afraid.

Weirdly, I am actually more interested in the Usher album coming out on Tuesday than any announcements tomorrow. I find that puzzling, but it seems to be the case.

Puzzling? I think not. Computers are...yawn...computers, but Usher, well, he's Usher.

I'm on my phone so you'll have to figure out how to get to the desktop version yourself...

Timmy says spring for the deluxe edition....but then, I always say that...but as we have already established,I am always right....

[Tim Wilson] "spring for the deluxe edition."

Already did. The arrangement and mix on Climax--which is all I've heard so far--is pretty cool, so I'm hoping to pick up a few tips here and there. They do some neat things with strings.

ATI 5770? No way.

First debunking of the day!!! It begins! :-D

"Update: As several readers have noted, not only is the inclusion of an old graphics card on the Mac Pro a strange detail, but the listed processors do not even exist. 9to5Mac's pre-launch spec sources have generally been very accurate in recent years, but they appear to be off this time on at least the Mac Pro models."

OR, there are no new MacPros and they have just changed the part numbers and added extra RAM as stock?

They wouldn't would they?........

[Jeremy Garchow] "They wouldn't."

"What I saw was, Apple was the only technology company I knew of where if a customer got angry with the company, they would yell and yell loudly but they would continue to buy," Tim Cook said.

Nevertheless 9to5mac has it wrong - three sticks of RAM in a 4-channel mobo? ;-)

Apple stores are now down, 4 hours before the start of the keynote? that seems like a lot of trading to lose. Perhaps we'll be getting the news before the keynote?

Think of this way.

Yes, they won't be able sell anything during those 4 hours, but after those four hours, it will be like opening the floodgates.

Whatever was lost on time will be made for in volume!

...maybe, I have no idea. Apple could fold up and whither because none of us buy anything.

hee hee.
