Encoding ProRes on Windows?

It seems someone has reverse-engineered ProRes.

FFmpeg [link] currently supports ProRes decoding and encoding on Linux, Windows, and Mac.

Wow, that's very interesting. Have to see how well it is implemented and working. Tnx for the tip.
Then again, far more interested in DnxHD these days.

I knew about the decode as I can play ProRes files on my Linux Mint laptop but I must test VLC and see if it can encode as well.
