Adobe licensing looks like it it going to change?

The new Adobe Captivate VR and interaction tool must be bought as separate subscription, but can also be bought as perpetual license...

I tried the Beta but it is a little crude.
Nice though for simple presentations.

But my point is not the software - it is the changed pricing model!

Interesting! This was never part of the CC subscription was it?

Why should it not be part of CC subscription?
Animate (Flash) is... XD is... Premiere supports VR...
Also you need an Adobe CC account to use it.

[Morten Ranmar] "Why should it not be part of CC subscription?"

That's my point, I don't like the idea that I'm paying for a CC subscription that doesn't have all of the toolset

[Morten Ranmar] "Premiere supports VR..."

360 videos aren't VR.

I think that adobe is running scared. I just posted in this forum a very interesting video on how resolve is changing the industry in Hollywood.

Well, if they were so scared, would they not include as many new tools in their package as possible, instead of craving a separate subscription for this?

I would rather they create an a la carte model: Pick 5 software from the cloud for a fixed price. Or Sling model. Why do I need to have (or pay for the development of) the rest, most of which I will never even open up, no less use.

Captivate has been part of the Technical Communications Suite for years. 5 programs available as a perpetual license or subscription. Some of them could be purchased individually as well. Captivate (2019) is the newest version with the VR stuff. So nothing's really changed it's just getting some marketing love now.
