About storage concerns...
on Apr 30, 2011 at 10:45:49 am

There is a very interesting study from the Academy of Motion Pictures that suggest that in 40 years or even 30 years whatever we do today and is stored in everything form Hard Disks up to LTO's will not exist...

The study ends to the conclusion that there is no real substitute of film for store and ignore a work of art for 50 years...

If we stop film recording our movies we will end up one day after 40 years that these movies will not be able to be restored... Additionally it suggest that a Filmout is the most safe way to the future today and that a digital store it costs at-least 10 times more for the same period...
