Retrospect v13 on Sierra - forgetting it has an LTO tape in the drive

We have recently upgraded to version 13 of Retrospect & Sierra (we rebuilt one of our backup machines and did a clean re-install)...

Since the upgrade, we've been running into a problem where Retrospect will forget/lose the information it has about an LTO tape that is mounted in the HP LTO-5 SAS unit we have on that system after a while (few hours). The only way to get it to talk to the LTO drive after this happens is to reboot.

My suspicion is that the system was going to sleep and Retrospect was losing its link to the drive. I've made sure that the system won't go to sleep now & we'll see if that fixes the problem, but...

I'm curious if anyone else is having trouble with Retrospect Version 13 losing communication with an HP SAS LTO drive on OSX Sierra?
