Help with transparency in custom fx brush...
on Jun 28, 2005 at 2:49:53 am

I am trying to create a custom fx brush using a graphic created in Photoshop... I examined the images used in the fx brushes that come with commotion and I used the same format... they appear to be .pct files with embedded alphas... I made my images the exact same format as the preset ones but when I load them in as brushes the alpha is ignored and there is a white border around my brush... I couldnt find any reference in the manual and I am running out of ideas... I would appreciate help of any kind... How do I get Commotion to recognize/utilize the transparency in my image when creating an fx brush??? By the way I'm using Commotion Pro 4.1 on OS X and Photoshop CS to create the graphics... Many thanks in advance because this is driving me nuts...
