fixing fast shutter effect in post ?

shot very fast movement with 5d mark ii @ 30fps, f22, kept the shutter at 1/60 but the footage came out really choppy looking. I should have shot it at 1/30. Is there a way to smooth it out in post? I'm looking for fluid motion.

Sony Vegas has an excellent digital stabilizer - but the shutter speed you've used is probably way too long to look decent with this...

Perhaps you could try some frame interpolation to double or quadruple the frame rate, then interlace the frames? That could work, maybe!

it's hard to believe sony vegas can do something FCP can't.
"frame interpolation to double or quadruple the frame rate, then interlace the frames" does not make sense to me but i'll try it to see if it helps.

anybody else?

If you wanted nice, fluid motion, why did you shoot at 29.97 and not 59.94?
