10 Channel Audio recording - Hardware requirement

Good Evening

I wonder if anyone can help. I need a solution to record up to 10 microphones to a PC based marine Data recorder system (Similar to a black box on plane)

The old regulations allowed us to record and combine audio from 4 mics on a single stereo input but now each audio source has to have a dedicated input so that it can be singled out when being replayed by an investigation authority.

We have USB, Ethernet or PCI-E available within our system but I cant seem to find a realistic solution to attached mics to.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Thanks

Stuart

If the regulations have been set, then obviously some sort of recorder would have been used for creating those regulations, just find out which one.

Regulations will NEVER be made unless the technical infrastructure had been created.
