Hello Brendan and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum.

I'm not a big fan of mic modeling software. With really good mics, there's a lot of stuff going on.

It's not too difficult to get one mic to sound close to another for a very specific situation with EQ, but it doesn't really hold when you start doing different things with the mics.

I think a better use of time would be to experiment with mic placement in real time to see what you can learn.
