Hi, has anyone used the audimute sound absorption sheets? We're renting an office soon and I'd like to dampen the verb a bit. I don't expect VO booth silence, so these look like decent alternatives. These seem to get good reviews, especially in the mid-high dampening range. The panels look interesting as well.... http://www.audimutesoundproofing.com
Dampening has to do with moisture. Damping is the term your looking for. :)
There are may ways to knock down a slappy environment. Architecture, ceiling, wall and floor treatment heading the list. Well-designed foam is a good solution for broadband and upper frequencies, but don't overdo it or your space will sound too dead. Build in some irregular shapes; book cases and other things to breakup the sound waves while you're at it.
