Howdy Ya'll,

I have a question that I didn't see an answer for on the forum. I need a good lavalier mic, (not wireless). I'm shooting a how-to-paint show, so I'll be moving around just a bit, (a 5 ft area). I was using a shotgun, but I thought the sound might be better with a lavalier. Any suggestions on a professional lavalier mic, (not wireless), for between $200 - $500?

Thanks for any help you can give me.
Dave

Hard to beat a Tram TR50.

Low "clothing" noise. Sounds great. Very rugged.

You'll want the phantom-powered / "battery-in-the-XLR-plug" (works either way) version.

For an even smaller mic (and another good one, too) there's the
Countryman B6
