Small Diaphragm Condenser Mic for Video

I'm currently using an AT-835b(short)Shotgun for on-camera talent/boom applications and I'm getting more room noise and reflections then desired when working in smaller rooms with low ceilings.

I need some input on small diaphragm condensers. I've been looking at Rode, AKG and smaller profile AT mics online. Without being able to get my ears on these I have to rely on others and see what folks are using and getting good results with.

I appreciate the input!

Thanks!

The A/T 4053b is a hypercardioid mic that might work. The talent would have to stay on it pretty closely, though. Rode NT5 or NT55s are good. Neumann makes some nice ones, as does DPA Microphones.

If you want a handheld for some reason, a Heil PR-22 or PR-35 might be the ticket. Sennheiser e935 or e945 are good options, too, and look nice on-camera.
