Combining two audio devices

Hey, im on a mac and all i need to do is combine the built in input microphone and soundflower (2ch) audio devices into one device that i can use to playback both my microphone and what is playing in garageband over skype. so my friend can hear both me and whatever is playing in garageband. any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Hello Benjamin and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum.

I have on several occasions played selections from iTunes during SKYPE sessions and the other party heard them just fine. I think SKYPE passes through anything the Mac System makes audible. IF GB isn't audible (I'm thinking it should be if you're hearing it on the Mac's speakers), try checking it's output and moving it to System Out.

use spotlight to find your audio midi setup utility. Open it up. Then go to the Audio menu and do an "Aggregate Device" Use the help section to get you through it. Doing this will turn the two devices into 1 big device.
