Looking for great SFX/Foley

Hello all,
I'm working on a student film, and I'm noticing more and more that most of the sound effects that come with Soundtrack Pro are essentially useless for most applications. That being said, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a place to find great (legal) sound effects that I could get my hands on. Some specific sounds that I'm looking for are what I call the "Hot Fuzz noises," a.k.a. dynamic "whooshes" and things of that sort. Essentially, I'd like anything better than what STP offers, and I'd really like to avoid excessive practical foleying on my end.

Thanks!

Free Sound Project

If you're looking for paid stuff, there is plenty...I've used Juicer extensively.

But, if you ask me, making your own is by far the best way - and the most challenging/fun thing you'll do for the film.

Not sure what they have as far as whooshes go, but this is a great free resource that I've gotten a lot of use out of:
