Professional mixing terms...
on Mar 20, 2009 at 6:49:29 pm

Dear fellow cows,

i hope this finds you well.

I am currently working as a editor for the first time and there are plenty of terms I am unsure of and never heard before. I will be posting in the appropriate forums for the various terms but here's a audio post one - "slop mix"... I was told to do somethign with it and now I am totally lost. I don't dare to ask them in case it exposes my lack of experience with this new editor stint.
Please help quickly.

Thanks all cows.

yours,

I've never heard the term "slop mix" either.

Rough mix?
Garbage mix?
Scratch track?
