I am looking to by a dual wireless lav system for my ag-hvx200. What is the difference between channel A and B systems?

Does the panasonic ag-hvx200 take both systems or just one?

Thanks,
Jessica

We're lost Jessica. Where are you getting the A-B info?

You'll either need a pair of systems or you can get a single system like a Zaxcom or maybe Azden makes something less expensive.

If you are referring to the Sennheiser G2 wireless systems, the difference is in the range of frequencies. The A range is 518 -550MHz, while the B is 630 - 662MHz. You want a range that will not have interference from your local UHF TV stations. You should check out the frequency selection chart on Sennheiser's web site to get an idea which might be better for your area. Link below:

Otherwise the A and B systems are exactly the same. Have fun!

Hi Jessica

The HVX-200 (or any camera for that matter) will work with any wireless system. However, as far as I know, Sennheiser doesn't make a dual channel wireless system (as of yet). Your choices are the Audio Technica 1800, Lectrosonics SR, Sony DWRS01/WWR862B and Zaxcom.
